Lately, I have been under the spell of finely manicured and gorgeously polished fingernails. I’ve found myself heading to the nail polish section of shops, both online and offline, and grabbing just about any color that suits my fancy. Well, just imagine how excited I was when I found out about SquareHue, a monthly nail polish subscription box that delivers a unique collection to its members. I have monthly subscription boxes for beauty and fashion items so why not have one just for nail polishes, right?
I received my very first SquareHue box this May and I must say that I am thrilled with the Madonna Collection. This month’s collection is a trio of pink hues – Day Glow, Mother’s Pearl, and Happy Creme. The nail polishes came in charming square bottles labelled with the color name and the month the collection was released. The brush inside the bottle is a wee bit shorter than other nail polish brands so I had to accustom myself to it first. Thankfully, it only took me a few swipes to perfect my application.
All three nail polishes were glossy with the Mother’s Pearl having a shimmery effect. Happy Creme is a pastel pink hue that gives my nails just a hint of color. Though the color is very light, I was able to get full coverage in only two coats. The Day Glow is berry pink almost bordering on red and orange. One coat of Day Glow and you’re already good to go.
These are three full-size .50z nail polish bottles and not mere trial-size ones, mind you. Also, the nail polish colors were specially formulated just for this collection and have been manufactured in limited quantity only. It’s almost like having nail polish colors exclusively formulated just for me. More than the exciting colors, SquareHue nail polishes are of high quality and are friendly to our nails. They do not contain DBP, Formladehyde, Toluene and Camphor.
I am so excited to receive my box of surprises this month! I’m thinking the collection would be bright and cheery in time for the summer season but no one really knows what’s going to be in the box until right after they open the box. Whatever they’ll be, I’m sure they’ll keep my digits in perfect style!
