For any woman, what you have on your nails can be just as important as who you’re wearing. Here are some of my picks for best nail polish brands available in the market today.

Sally Hansen is the leader in nail care, and their nail polishes aren’t half bad either. What’s great about Sally Hansen polish is that not only does it look great, but their formulas are so well thought of. From quick dry to nail strengthening polishes, Sally Hansen makes sure that your nails look good and are in good condition. Sally Hansen also offers products like nail stickers that add oomph to a regular manicure. Priced between $4-$8, Sally Hansen products definitely offer a good bang for your buck. Favorite products from Sally Hansen are Nail Growth Miracle and Complete Salon Manicure polishes, as well as Salon Effects nail stickers.
2. Essie polishes come in pretty square bottles with white caps, and get a definite A+ for packing. Essie is the goddess of nudes, pastels, and baby pinks, and has been awarded by many beauty magazines. Essie nailpolishes can be found at drugstores and department stores nationwide for $8-$10 a bottle. The formula is great although lighter colors may need two to three coats to go opaque.

OPI is definitely on top of it’s game when it comes to nails. The brand is known for their funky shades and cool collaborations, from Katy Perry to the Kardashians, Mariah Carey, and even Justin Bieber. OPI nailpolishes have a great formula that go opaque in one coat, and come with big brushes for easier application. At $6-$8 a bottle, OPI is a steal. Some of the top shades for OPI are Smitten with Mittens, My Private Jet, You Don’t Know Jacques, Pamplona Purple, and Lincoln Park After Dark. Both polishes are definitely some of the best nail polish brands.
4. China Glaze, for the nail polish on a budget, is the way to go. It’s not as expensive as others, but still delivers great results. A bottle of China Glaze nail polish retails for about $6 a bottle, but it is often discounted to even as low as $3 a bottle. The brand features many fun shades and has a great formula.
