It’s official! Ms.Venus Raj has been issued her Philippine Passport under her name which will entitles her to have her reign back as Bb. Pilipinas Universe. Many may not know but Ms. Venus Raj was stripped off from her Ms. Universe crown two months ago because of the inconsistencies of her nationality according to the Bb. Pilipinas Charity Foundation. Many was outrage and got upset by this action of the foundation, it was chaotic that time, you ill see different blogs shooting here, there to everywhere like a pitching machine on the loose, interviews were all over the networks, until one day, the said foundation decided to give her another chance to prove her nationality. If you were to asked me they might have realized that there’s also a flaw in their screening process that’s why this happened.
An AD-HOC committee was created by the Department of Foreign Affairs to evaluate thoroughly all of Ms. Raj’s documents and birth certificate that was passed to DFA Office of Consular Affairs says ” The committee stated that on the basis of documents presented by Ms. Maria Venus, it is well-established that she was born to a Filipina mother, and following the Jus sanguinis rule on matters of citizenship acquisition, she is a Filipino citizen who is entitled to a Philippine passport “
