Summer’s not yet officially here but I’m already raring to hit the beaches with my new beach wear from Del Sol. I’ve got a sexy beach cover up and a fun pair of board shorts that are sure to have my friends running to their laptops to buy some for themselves.
The Smocked Beach Cover Up in Plumeria Passion is an ultra feminine cover up with a strapless neckline and a smocked ruffle trim on the bodice. It’s made of 100% ringspun cotton jersey giving it a soft feel. It’s also specially tailored to give it an outstanding drape. When there’s no sunlight, the stylized design on the cover up’s bottom looks like a simple watermark of flowers. Once you head outdoors, the petals magically shimmer in purple, orange, red and yellow hues. I got one in medium size which has a length of 27 ¾ inches so it falls several inches above my knee. It’s so versatile that I can wear it as a dress for summer brunches or even wear it as a skirt.
My other new Del Sol apparel is the Island Tease Board Shorts which comes in black accented by royal blue binding running down the thigh and leg opening. On the sides are summer flowers that burst into a shower of colors when exposed to the magical rays of the sun. Made of 100% polyester, these board shorts were made to withstand waves while still being chic enough to lounge in beside the pool. The other design, Summer Lovin’, is also great but the Island Tease design looks more fun for me.
These two would most likely be the most used outfits this summer. To complete my summer ensemble, I’m also choosing a few items from Del Sol’s Sun AccentsTM. These color changing hair clips and jewelry will definitely add more fun to my summer outfits.

ABOUT DEL SOL
From a small retail cart in Murray in 1994, Del Sol has grown into the world’s leading brand of color-changing apparel and accessories with over 100 stores established in 23 countries across the globe.
All Del Sol products contain color-changing crystals that are engineered using its proprietary Spectrachrome® Technology. This technology was developed by Del Sol based on earlier concepts of color change that NASA used for its space program back in the 70s. Spectrachrome® crystals reveal their colors when they are exposed to the sun’s UV Rays.
Del Sol not only makes hanging it in the sun real fun, it also puts a smile on the faces of those in need through its humanitarian efforts. Over a million dollars worth of products has been donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Haitian earthquake, and the South East Asia Tsunami. Del Sol continues to bring back to the community by supporting hundreds of humanitarian projects around the world.
