If you belonged to the norm back in high school, you most probably disliked Geometry as much as I did. It was one of those academic subjects which I then thought were utterly useless in real life. Well, who would have thought that the fashionista in me would be fascinated with Geometry now?
Now I’m not talking about geometric proofs and all those head-spinning theorems. I’m talking about symmetry in geometric prints and abstract shapes. Urban geometry will be a predominant fashion trend for 2012. Watch out for clean silhouettes and geometrical designs this year. And I don’t mean just stripes and polka dots! We’ll see plenty of lines, curves, and shapes that create a brilliant montage of colors and patterns.
You don’t need to be Euclid to follow this fashion trend. A good eye for color and design is all you need to let your outfit take on urban geometry.
