Ricky Martin is out of the closet
The 38 year old Latin singer finally announced to his website that he is gay. Yes, it’s true Ricky Martin is gay but I still loves his music. It has been awhile since I last heard Ricky Martin in the news and I can say, he did really surprised everyone with the announcement letter from his website.
According to the letter, his fatherhood experiences from his twin sons Valentino and Matteo made him reflect and realized that it’s about time to embrace his own nature, about him being gay. True, it takes a lot of courage to announce “that” in public and I salute him for that. My brother said that it doesn’t makes him less of a man if he is gay or not “Muscularity can never be measured in meters or in digits” which I agree so.
True that fatherhood had change Ricky’s life, I wonder what would motherhood has stored for me. I’m excited to feel that glow, Ricky was talking about in his letter

Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.

Thank goodness for men
I thought I almost lost the pictures I have uploaded in my laptop from my camera. Hubby searched my whole laptop for me for the pictures I was looking for. Thank goodness for men as they don’t go hysterical when things go bad.
One time while I was working on my pc, the monitor suddenly turned black. I called hubby right away. He figured out what was wrong and he fixed it. He also checked if I had protection. Great thing that I have a hubby that thinks about this stuff and just to be sure he already installed an antivirus software in my laptop. Now I can continue my work without any worries.
Travel Fever
I just got back from a two week vacation in the Philippines. It was just amazing! Fresh air, fresh food and simple living. We ate vegetables grown in our farm itself, we had fish caught the same day and fruits picked from the trees.
Although I love staying at our farm, I would love to explore the other islands/ places in the Philippines as well. It would be great if we had a rv that we can drive around the island. Not only it will serve as our mode of transport but it will also be our lodging place too. Two for the price of one, of course if you own a rv, it is best to buy an rv insurance for unexpected circumstances like accidents ( knock on wood).
OMG! Is it September already?
It’s September already, the start of the Ber Months ( SeptemBER , OctoBER , NovemBER , DecemBER ) and what comes to my mind right now is the holidays! I love love the holidays! For me, it’s a magical time.
I remember when I was a little girl, I would write letters to Santa and tell him what I want. I never got what I really wanted though…I didn’t get angry or anything. I just thought there were lots of poor children in the world and Santa needs to give everybody gifts and the one I wanted which is a Barbie doll House is very expensive.
Oh well now I am all grown up, I don’t need a doll house anymore.
Anyway I was thinking about where to spend Christmas, I am hoping to spend it at our farm with family and friends. I am sure it would be loads of fun. Hmmm let me discuss this with hubby and see what he thinks about it. When I get the go signal, I will be start preparing the holiday invitations ! Oh I am already excited!
A Simple Act of Kindness
I care about a lot of things – I am not all vain you know. I love children and I do believe they are our future. Whenever I can, I do help out on a elementary school that is very close to my heart.
Last year I collected used books for them here in Singapore. They were all so happy with the simple things we brought for them.
Next year, if I have plenty of spare money, I would like to donate some neccessary stuff to the school like computers, printers and some classroom furniture as well.
It would be wonderful if I could raise some funds to buy all their needs.
Diva in Distress
I am not feeling fab at the moment. Something bad has happened to me recently but I cannot disclose the information here. I wish me and the Man could go away for awhile. I was thinking maybe it’s time to move closer to our family and friends.
I am really serious about this and I am actually already looking for a reputable long distance moving companies that can handle my fabulous stuff as we cannot just leave them here behind.
